Hearing today that Radio Shack has filed for bankruptcy protection, I'm remembering a job interview I had at their corporate office in the mid 70s. After a short interview with all the standard questions about experience, the interviewer had a final question for me. "What do you say to close the sale?" he asked. I hemmed and hawed. Again, "What's the last thing you say to a customer?". More hemming. Finally with mild frustration he said. "Cash or charge? That's what you say."
I didn't get the job. But I still remember that interview.
