Photo Story: The Arab Community in Detroit

The Detroit area, and specifically the city of Dearborn, is home to the largest community of Arab-Americans in the country. Fear of a backlash permeated this community immediately following September 11, but the atmosphere has settled into a calmer but alert state.

These photos are from a photo story for Arabies magazine, which is distributed throughout the Arab speaking world.
