A car body will move down the center trolley while tools form and pierce the metal in a precise series of operations. Cold in winter. Hot in summer. Working in a steel mill is not for the faint of heart. These photos are from a Monroe steel mill on one of the coldest days of this winter. And not much warmer inside.
